As a fan of Villainzer, I can easily say I have come to expect a certain extreme energy and volatile sound from the band. This week’s release of Villainzer’s first single, “Death,” from their upcoming new album, Annihilation of Self, is a perfect example of them feeding the hunger they inspire in their fans. The song is catchy, edgy, and political with pointed lyrics and the dramatic musical genius we know and love. I always enjoy the brutal onslaught of frontman Rob “The Arab Villain” screaming from my speakers whenever I turn up the volume. I am pretty stoked to hear the full album when it drops on June 1st.

Annihilation of Self is available for pre-order via the band’s website Villainizer.com. The album will feature 4 chapters and 16 songs total. The band is also featuring a limited number of Annihilation of Self t-shirts and stickers. Make sure you check the site for all the details. I just put my pre-order in. As with all the previous releases this is not an album you are going to want to miss.
