I was planning on putting together a list of the greatest hits from E3 2014, but when shit just can’t wait for later today, things need to press on now. Ubisoft surprised everyone when they announced Rainbow Six Siege, the surprise especially came when they revealed the gameplay demonstration of the fast-paced multiplayer mode, which places a team of five Rainbow Six members against five enemy forces.
In the demo, the counter terrorism unit must attempt to rescue the hostage by using strategy, breach, and stronghold tactics, and close-quarters destruction to stop the attackers. You also get to see the technology behind Ubisoft’s “Blast Tech,” which allows players to punch holes in walls, doors, windows, floors, and ceilings with explosives, shotguns, and other destructive gadgets and guns.
Rainbow Six Siege releases on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC platforms in 2015.
