This is it, Yellers! This is the perfect blending of heavy metal (death metal, to be exact) and horror. Clearly the Swedes of Cut Up have been influenced by the likes of Friday the 13th (see the machete), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (see the, well, the whole video really), Halloween (see the ghostly mask), and I’ll even say SAW (see the literal saw, the operating room, and the torture horror of the genre).
Let’s not forget to mention how brutally kick-ass the “A Butchery Improved” track is! It’s like listening to Slayer and Cannibal Corpse at the same time. The track lives on Cut Up’s forthcoming debut album, Forensic Nightmares, which will see release on June 26th.
