One of the amazing features in Mortal Kombat X is the variety of DLC characters that can be purchased after the launch of the game. If players want immediate access to Jason Voorhees, Predator, Tanya, and Tremor, along with some extra skins at a future date can get the Kombat Pack for $30, which is really neat to say the least.
But if you’re unsure about these characters and you’d like to test drive them before purchasing the pack, we’ve got great news for you. Mortal Kombat X creator Ed Boon just revealed the ability to try DLC characters from time to time in the game without actually buying them. This pretty much means the game’s Challenge Towers will allow you to sample characters you don’t own for a limited time. Based on Boon’s explanation, three different towers will rotate out regularly, and one of them at times will allow players to sample a DLC character like the ones mentioned above before choosing to buy him or her.
Sweet feature don’t you think? I’m sure Jason is on your wish list!
If you’re looking forward to Mortal Kombat X, then make sure you pick up the fighting game on Tuesday, April 14th. It will be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
