UFC 205: Conor McGregor Plans To Hold Unto Two Belts After Win

Conor McGregor

Following the UFC 205 press conference earlier this week, UFC President Dana White stated that Conor McGregor would have to vacate a belt if he defeats lightweight title holder Eddie Alvarez in New York City.

Well folks, “Mystic Mac” predicts that he will stop Alvarez in the first round by KO at UFC 205. Afterwards hold unto both UFC lightweight and featherweight belts.

McGregor said,

They’re going to have to gather an army to try and take one of them (belts) off me, and that’s out straight. One’s going to be there, one’s going to be there, and I’m going to be picking and choosing who I want to destroy next. And that’s it.

The lightweight division is very familiar territory for McGregor, who won both the CWFC Featherweight and Lightweight championships in 2012, making him the first European professional mixed martial artist to hold titles in two divisions simultaneously.

I’m very happy with the 155-pound weight limit. I feel of all the divisions I’ve ran around and ran through, 155, I feel, will be the one where I take over the most. So, I look forward to that.

UFC 205: McGregor vs. Alvarez will be held on November 12, 2016 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
