Sheborg Massacre: A Future Neo-Pulp Cult Classic [TRAILER]

Remember Manborg? Well this is nothing like that, other than the gender flip of the title and the fact that they’re both indie flicks. Nonetheless, Sheborg Massacre looks freakin’ great.

Judging from the new trailer, the flick looks cheesy, bloody, violent, and crazy as fuck. Plus the trailer has a kick-ass industrial metal track from Melbourne’s Witchgriner for you to sink your teeth into. Check out all the madness in the player above!

Sheborg Massacre Synopsis:

Self-styled tough girl and punk activist, Dylan, loves fighting for a cause… literally any cause will do (much to the chagrin of her BFF, Eddie). When an alien fugitive crash lands into a local puppy farm and begins turning people into machines that feed on puppy flesh, Dylan has to decide if she believes in any cause enough to risk her life, take on the SheBorg menace, and save the world.

Writer/director, Daniel Armstrong, describes Sheborg Massacre as a neo-pulp film:

Neo-pulp lovingly embraces the most extreme, cliche, and supercilious elements of pop culture and pulp literature and puts them in a human context. Sheborg Massacre itself is a teen rebel flick set in a B-grade, sci-fi world from the early ’80s, with horror style violence. It’s not a spoof, it’s not horror, it’s not action, it’s not sci-fi, it’s not drama. It’s all of these things. It’s neo-pulp.

The film stars Whitney Duff (Mirror of Filth, Loyalty) as Dylan, Daisy Masterman (Murderdrome) as Eddie, and Emma Louise-Wilson (Utopia, Alice in Zombieland, From Parts Unknown: Fight Like a Girl) as Sheborg.
