Stick To Your Guns Address Police Violence… Among Other Things

Given the recent controversies involving the police in the U.S. there’s no doubt we’re going to see a lot more music that speaks of it. Such as the recent lyric video release from melodic-hardcore band, Stick to Your Guns. Their video for “What Choice Did You Give Us” is a politically/socially charged anthem coming off the band’s upcoming album, Disobedient (February 10th).

Vocalist Jesse Barnett commented on the track:

With a system that seems to act without a conscience, where nobody seems to be held accountable for their actions, we ask: what choice have you given any of us? For the families of Eric Garner, Mike Brown, Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice, and any other family suffering losses at the hands of injustice, we will stand beside you until we see things change. We encourage you all to find local protests and demonstrations in your area and stand with those looking to change this world for the better.
