Season 5 is turning out to be a ratings destroyer for AMC and The Walking Dead. The mid-season finale, “Coda,” broke previous mid-season records for the show with 14.8 million viewers and 9.6 million adults 18-49. This is a 23% audience increase over last season’s corresponding episode. However, it’s still not Season 5’s highest rated show, that honor goes to Season 5’s premiere episode with 17 million fans tuning in.
The Walking Dead returns in February 2015, and has been renewed for a sixth season.
