Cast Update For Scream: The TV Series

Scream TV Series
Last Wednesday, Yell! Magazine was happy to report that MTV’s Scream TV series was back on track for production. Rumor was also unofficially squashed on Wes Craven directing the pilot episode. We learned that Canadian director Jamie Travis will now be hands on in the project. However, there’s still a possibility floating around that Wes might be directing at a later time, but at the moment it only appears like he was involved as a “creative consultant.”

In addition, the main cast was also revealed. Willa Fitzgerald will put on Neve Campbell’s shoes in a Sidney-like role alongside Amy Forsyth (Reign), John Karna (The Neighbors), Carlson Young (The Kroll Show), and newcomer Amadeus Serafini.

Today, we have word on four new additions to the cast of Scream: The TV Series. Here is what know, courtesy of the one and only, The Hollywood Reporter:

Bex Taylor-Klaus plays Audrey Jensen… the daughter of a Lutheran pastor. She’s described as an artsy loner who aspires to be a filmmaker.

Bobby Campo (The Final Destination) will recur as Seth Branson, the hot English teacher at Lakewood High who has an easy charm and is clearly one of the “cool” teachers, who can go with it if a lesson plan gets a little off-track.

Connor Weil (Sharknado) will be a series regular and portray Will Belmont, an all-American high school basketball player who adores his girlfriend, Emma (Fitzgerald).

Joel Gretsch (Witches of East End, V, The 4400) is set as Sheriff Clark Hudson, a good guy and good sheriff who is father to Kieran (Amadeus Serafini).

Lastly, an air date for the pilot has not been announced yet by MTV, but we’ll let readers know as soon as we hear something.

Stay tuned on Yell! Magazine for more to news to come.
