August Burns Red dropped a new for the track “Beauty in Tragedy,” from their latest album, Rescue & Restore, which is available now for purchase at iTunes. It’s a boring live performance video that was shot at a bunch of different shows throughout Europe. The song is decent though, so at least there’s that.
However, any band that has members that do that gay fucking bounce while rockin’ out is not aband. Sure, August Burns Red plays hard music, sure they can actually play their instruments, and sure they have some catchy tunes, but they are not metal because they do that stupid “jump up and down because I really gotta pee” bounce. It’s the worst thing to happen to hard music since the oxymoron of Christian or maybe even straight edge.
OK, I respect personal choices, but who the fuck gets into heavy metal or punk rock for the clean livin’? And even if you want to make the choice to be a “clean” band, why shout about it from a mountain top? You’re not a fucking martyr. Jesus.
Deep breathes. I know I got way off topic, and I don’t even dislike August Burns Red, I just hate that damn bounce. I feel like they should be playing this instead:
