The Expendables 3 and Fast and Furious 7 hasn’t even been released yet, but it sounds like Warner Bros. is convinced thatWomen’s Bantamweight Champion will be an instant Hollywood action star since they booked her for two more upcoming projects.
According to reports, Rousey will start shooting a new film entitled Entourage in mid-march, after her UFC 170 bout with Sara McMann slated for Saturday, February 22, 2014. In addition to that, Rousey also landed her first lead role in the film adaptation of The Athena Project by American novelist, Brad Thor. Apparently, Thor and Rousey hit it off during a conversation about the project, which seems to deeply interest the MMA champion. Her role in the film would be the “leader of an all-female squad of Delta Force operators specializing in counter terrorism,” according to MMA Fighting.
UFC President Dana White even congratulated her over Twitter on Thursday.
