Better known as a western director, in addition to the 1943 Batman film, Lambert Hillyer directed 1936’s Dracula’s Daughter. The Universal film is about the Hungarian Countess Marya Zaleska seeking the aid of a noted psychiatrist, in hopes of freeing herself of a mysterious evil influence. If that description doesn’t get its hooks in ya, maybe the tagline will:
She gives you that weird feeling!
The film starred Otto Kruger, Gloria Holden, and Marguerite Churchill.
