Mark your calendar for November 22, 2013. That’s the day frenzied Xbox fans will be storming stores for their Xbox One console.
Last week we reported a leak regarding a speculated release date for the Xbox One, which was November 8th, making the actual release date 2 weeks later than hoped for. Ah, well, still in time for Christmas, and still in 2013, unlike our sad gaming brothers and sisters in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden, and Switzerland; Microsoft announced last month that these nations wouldn’t get an Xbox One until 2014.
Microsoft has also confirmed that CPU will be boosted to 1.75GHz, up 150MHz. Also, at release several exclusive titles will be available, including Dead Rising 3, Zoo Tycoon, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Killer Instinct, in addition to 19 other titles.
Considering the Xbox One will be released days after the PlayStation 4 (November 15th), I’m wondering if Microsoft will take a sales hit.
What are you thoughts? Which console will be the bigger seller upon release?
