Two new scenes from the Australian film Crawl have surfaced on the Internet. The first one, above, just drips with tension. Appropriately titled “Behind the Door,” this scene has Georgina Haig (Marilyn Burns) on one side of the door, controlling her breathing and waiting, and George Shevtsov (The Stranger) on the other side in full on stealth mode. It’s the type of scene that you don’t come across very often these days, as it harkens back to ’70s or even back to Hitchcock.
The second scene, below, is more in tune with what we see today. It’s merciless, ruthless, graphic, and, well, kind of funny. The sound editing, with the sound of bones crushing, might be a bit exaggerated, but it totally gets the point across. Absolutely fantastic, and I’d so much rather be dressed in drag taking the walk of shame than be doing this crawl.
Crawl debuts on Blu-ray and DVD on February 26, 2013.
