This past summer we caught a screening of K. King’s brilliantly cheesy Zombie Hunter, and we loved it. The film stars Machete‘s Danny Trejo, but his part is all-too small. The film’s real star is Martin Copping, known only as “Hunter,” and he delivers the most ridiculous lines with the best straight face imaginable.
The news today regardingHunter is the fact that it has an official DVD and Blu-ray release date, which is October 8, 2013.
So, if you’re in the mood for some post-apocalyptichunting, get in line to get a copy of this amazing little film.
Zombie Hunter synopsis:
Zombie Hunter is set in a post-apocalyptic Zombie wasteland caused by the mysterious street drug “Natas.” We follow one man who has nothing left other than a beat up Camaro and a trunk full of guns and booze. He runs down Flesh Eaters, hunting for sport and redemption, while also running from his past. After crashing into a small group of survivors, who are running low on resources, he decides to lend a hand. But a surprise attack by the Flesh Eaters forces them on the run and puts the Hunter’s skills to the test.
