It looks like Netflix just created a new series that Stephen King and Steven Spielberg should have produced together in the early ‘80s. Stranger Things is an upcoming drama series created by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer (Wayward Pines, Hidden) that is slated to stream next month on Netflix.
The show is a 1980s supernatural series set in Indiana, where a young boy vanishes into thin air. Things get extremely creepy as friends look for answers.
As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl.
Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Cara Buono, Charlie Heaton, and Matthew Modine.
The show will debut on July 15th.
