Urijah Faber Shaves Off His Braids To Show Support For His Ailing Sister

Urijah Faber said goodbye to his famous braided hair moments ago to show support for his ailing sister who has been hospitalized since the day after Thanksgiving. Faber’s sister, Michaela, was in a serious car accident that required her to shave her head for brain surgery. Based on some of the pictures released, including the last shot with Faber in the video, it seems the surgery went well, and Michaela is ready to return home this Friday.

For the first time in 12 years, Urijah Faber will now be appearing with short hair, and you can catch his new look on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter. He will be coaching alongside his top rival, who is the current UFC Bantamweight Champion, Dominick Cruz. TUF 15 will debut on FX this March.
