UFC 206: Georges St-Pierre Responds To Michael Bisping [VIDEO]

Following Michael Bisping plea for Georges St-Pierre to “sign the papers” and fight him at UFC 206 in Toronto, the former UFC welterweight champion has responded with low hopes to make on the card.

On Wednesday, GSP released a video on Twitter saying that he met with new UFC owner Ari Emanuel from WME-IMG and “made peace” with UFC president Dana White last week. However, they couldn’t set a deal in stone yet.

GSP said,

Nothing would make me more happy in the world than to fight you in Toronto, Michael. Last week, I met with Ari and I made peace with Dana. I tried to resolve things, but unfortunately right now it’s not happening. Hopefully, things will change soon. Thank you.

With less than two months left to go before UFC 206 happens, it’s very unlikely this middleweight clash for the belt will go down in UFC history. Time is running out!

UFC 206 will still feature great fights such as Cormier vs. Johnson 2 and Max Holloway vs. Anthony Pettis, but it just won’t be perfect without GSP.

The event takes place on December 10, 2016 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto
