It’s no secret that on May 27th, Six Feet Under will release the fourth installment of their Graveyard Classics series. This time around, the band is paying tribute to two of metal’s most important bands: Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. Entitled Graveyard Classics IV: The Number of the Priest.
I’ve read some bad things about this latest effort from Six Feet Under, but until today I hadn’t given any of it a listen. And after today’s listen of the newly released track, Iron Maiden’s “Murder in the Rue Morgue,” I probably won’t give a listen to anything else from the album. Why, you ask? Because it’s just horrible and possibly the worst thing I’ve heard all week.
