It’s big, it’s fuzzy, it’s heavy, it’s loud, and it’s amazing… unfortunately I’m left with the sense that I’ve heard it all before. It’s great, so I like it and I’ll listen to it again, but it just doesn’t sound terribly original, except for Emily Kopplin’s vocals.
The doom metal style? Yes. Boring? Yes.
