The Long Island Serial Killer – So Bad Looking It Might Be Good [TRAILER]

This looks so bad that it’s gotta be good! Wild Eye Releasing will be releasing the ultra-low-budget-looking movie The Long Island Serial Killer on August 25th. Perhaps the creepiest thing about this potential slasher-fest is that it’s based on the true crimes of a serial killer who’s been dumping bodies of sex workers on Gilgo Beach and remains at large to this day.

From writer/director Joseph DiPietro in his feature debut, he tells the story of a fictitious coed in the path of the sadistic killer, who is believed responsible for the death of up to 17 sex workers in the New York area.

The Long Island Serial Killer Synopsis:

A serial killer is at large in the edges of New York City, luring prostitutes from the Internet and leaving a trail of bodies along Gilgo Beach in Long Island. While the friends and families of the victims search for answers, the police remain unable to solve the murders or stop him from taunting the grieving survivors. A young, down-on-her-luck college student turns to the escort business in desperation, but she unknowingly places herself directly in the path of one of New York’s most vicious serial killers.
