UFC: Demetrious Johnson vs. T.J. Dillishaw “Not Happening”

Demetrious Johnson vs. T.J. Dillishaw

It appears like the long-awaited superfight between reigning UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and current bantamweight champion T.J. Dillisaw is off the table.

Earlier this week, the Los Angeles Times received an update via a text message from UFC President Dana White concerning the highly-anticipated bout. According to White, the 125-pound title fight is “not happening”

Both champions have lobbied for the superfight with one another for quite some time. Dillishaw was initially open to the challenge after he defeated Cody Garbrandt at UFC 217 last November. Dillishaw agreed to drop down over an instant rematch with Garbrandt.
