Conor McGregor Discusses His Meeting with Dana White & Lorenzo Fertitta

It’s no secret there was a clash between UFC President Dana White and Conor McGregor during the press conference for UFC 200 in April. It was pretty obvious White was pissed at McGregor for not attending the event because he didn’t want to leave his training camp in Iceland to go do media obligations in Las Vegas for UFC 200.

Ever since the highly-publicized presser, people have be wondering about the relationship between McGregor and the UFC brass. We’ll, it appears to be in good terms now. According to an interview with ESPN, McGregor claims a meeting with White and CEO Lorenzo Fertitta on Wednesday night left things “in a good place.”

McGregor said,

Good conversation like it always is. We have a good relationship. It is what it is. It happens. This is the fight game. Sometimes emotions get into it. But it’s important to recognize that emotions have no place in business. That’s essentially what it was last night. We just set it aside. There’s no place for emotions in this. We are doing beautiful things. So let’s continue. Let’s fix it and let’s continue.

However, there’s still no official word on when McGregor will return inside the Octagon and who his next opponent will be. Rumor is Floyd Mayweather Jr. is offering McGregor a $50 Million deal for a boxing match.

Could the rumor be true?
