Blue Stahli Sings The Praises Of “The Devil”

Blue Stahli, the one-man electronic-rock project headed by Bret, has released a new track fro public consumption. Check out the extremely cinematic “The Devil” via the player above. The new track comes off of Blue Stahli’s newly released sophomore album, The Devil, which can be ordered here.

Blue Stahli comments:

I made this album to be a kinetic blast of electronic rock that throws you headfirst into a hyper-edited mashup of neon cyberpunk flicks, the atmospheric VHS glow of sci-fi and horror… the surreal fantasticism of weird fiction. Each album I aim for making an event soundtrack to your favorite late-night, go-to movie that doesn’t exist (yet). This beast is built of massive guitars, pop hooks, an onslaught of electronics, and cinematic atmosphere meant to engulf you and create a world you can escape to.

About Blue Stahli:

The sole member of Blue Stahli, Bret, comes from a background of fetish burlesque troupes, drag-queen-fronted punk bands and believes that he is visited in his dreams by the ghost of William S. Burroughs.

The music of Blue Stahli is a roller coaster ride derailed mid-journey, landing on another track, only this time rolling backwards. Just when you think you know what Blue Stahli has in store for you, the floor drops out from under you and sends you straight into a cacophonous amalgamation of sounds you never imagined could be combined. Sometimes aggressive, artistic, and full of piss’n’vinegar, other-times vividly cinematic and wildly epic. Trailers and promos for films like X-Men: Days of Future Past, Iron Man 3, and Star Trek: Into Darkness all the way to TV shows like American Horror Story, Arrow, and Criminal Minds along with video games Twisted Metal, Call of Duty, and Dead Rising 2 feature Blue Stahli to create an exhilarating musical backdrop.
