Ahead of its premiere at the Dances with Films festival, newcomer Eric Blue’s new science-fiction, Beacon Point, has a new clip for you to feast upon. As interesting as the clip looks, one can’t help but think Predator while watching. However, the twist here is that there’s an “ancient secret” at play and whether that means supernatural or lycan remains to be determined. But, I think we can all see from the poster that there’s definitely something Aztec about it all.
Beacon Point has won a plum Friday night slot on the festival’s exciting showcase of upcoming independent gems. The Georgia-produced chiller, produced by Blue Lantern Films, will play at the Chinese Theatre on June 10th.
