August Burns Red Celebrates Christmas In October

While everyone else is thinking about Halloween and Thanksgiving, August Burns Red is thinking about Christmas. Talk about jumping the gun.

August Burns Red just released a Christmas album, August Burns Red Presents: Sleddin’ Hill, A Holiday Album, which is available at iTunes.

The metalcore band has also released an animated video for the original Holiday song, “Flurries.” It’s not an official video, but August Burns Red is expected to release three others like it over the coming months. The animated video is like a big fucking Christmas card and combined with the track kinda makes me feel good all over. Usually when a band, or even popular artists, tries to make a Holiday album, it falls flat on its ugly face, but so far I’m digging “Flurries.”
